Structurally, CSTAM General Assembly (GA), which is held once every five years, is the supreme organ of CSTAM. The General Assembly elects members to the Governing Council. From this Council, members are elected to the Standing Committee. The Committee is executive bodies of CSTAM, responsible for decision-making of important issues of the society. The execution of these decisions and resolutions rests with the CSTAM Secretariat.
Under the Governing Council, there are 23 working parties to assist the operation. They are in a certain sub field of mechanics to structure the activities in each field. There are 7 working committes in the areas of education, youth and organizational affairs, and mechanics knowledge popularization etc. In addition, there are 18 editorial boards concerning publishing as well.
