The Ninth International Conference on Nanomaterials by Severe Plastic Deformation (NanoSPD9) is scheduled to take place in Beijing from 31 October - 4 November 2025. The NanoSPD conferences have been the most important events in the field of nanostructured materials since the inception in 1999 (Moscow). NanoSPD9 will bring together a diverse group of over 600 delegates, including more than 300 international participants, to discuss and share the latest research and developments in the field of severe plastic deformation.

The legacy of NanoSPD (http://www.nano-spd.org) conference has already been established by the previous eight conferences in Moscow (1999), Vienna (2002), Fukuoka (2005), Goslar (2008), Nanjing (2011), Metz (2014), Sydney (2017), and most recently, Bangalore (2021). We will continue the tradition at NanoSPD9 by presenting the NanoSPD Achievement Award to recognize outstanding achievements in SPD processing and nanomaterials, as well as the NanoSPD Young Researcher Award for an SPD researcher under the age of 40. The conference will feature a comprehensive program, including plenary talks, concurrent sessions, and an interactive poster session, all designed to foster collaboration and innovation within the NanoSPD community.
