GENERAL INFORMATION
ICDVC-2022, the 6th International Conference on Dynamics, Vibration and Control, hosted by The Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and National Natural Science Foundation of China, and organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, will be held on October 21-24,2022 in Shanghai, China.
The ICDVC is held every four years. Like its five predecessor events held in Beijing (1990and 2006), Hangzhou (2010), Shanghai (2014), and Shijiazhuang (2018), ICDVC-2022 is organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The ICDVC-2022 will provide an excellent opportunity for
engineers and scientists working in the field of dynamics, vibration and control to come together and exchange ideas about their profession.
Dynamics, vibration and control composes of an active sub-discipline of mechanics, and ICDVC-2022is devoted to the significant research field. The aim of ICDVC-2022is to bring together the international leading scientists of dynamics, vibration and control communities, both theoreticians and experimentalists, and to present their original research work of very high quality. The themes of the conference are intended to be broad enough so as to cover most of the fields in dynamics, vibration and control, promoting wide interactions among different academic disciplines. Mathematical theory, numerical simulation, physical experiments, engineering design, information technique, biological and financial studies, and other various applications are included in the main program of the conference. The conference also provides an excellent opportunity to researchers from different fields of science and engineering, both experts and new comers, for sharing ideas, experience and progress, and exploring new directions and problems among specialists in these fascinating subjects.
Due to the pandemic, ICDVC-2022 will be in the hybrid form, with both “live, in person” and “virtual, online” programs. For the international participants who cannot visit Shanghai to attend the conference physically, they can present their research online. Both oral and poster presentations will be included in the conference program. Internationally leading experts will deliver keynote lectures at the lCDVC-2022.It is expected that over 500 participants from various countries will attend the conference.

SUBMISSIONS
Participants are invited to submit short abstracts on any of the conference topics. Short abstracts should be informative and carefully prepared, and new insights should be highlighted. The authors of ICDVc-2022 conference papers need to use the Microsoft Word or Latex template (download from the conference website) to prepare their conference papers, and subsequently convert their papers into PDF files for submissions to the lCDVC-2022 official website https://icdvc.sjtu.edu.cn.
