The 14th Asian Congress on Fluid Mechanics was held in Hanoi and Ha Long City, Vietnam from October 15th to 19th, 2013. Entitled “Future faith, future Asian: Research for global sustainability”, ACFM14 is the first Asian congress of fluid mechanics in Vietnam. The event drew the participation of scientists from 16 Asian countries and several other countries in the world. More than 250 scientific reports, including 13 invited reports and 50 reports by Vietnamese scientists, were presented at the congress. Reports were made during five general meetings, 31 special sub-committees and three topic conferences.
