The Chinese Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics 2025 (CCTAM-2025) opened on July 19 in Changsha, Hunan Province. The conference was co-hosted by CSTAM, Hunan University and Central South University.

Under the theme “Intelligence Empowers Innovation, Mechanics Drives the Future,” the congress attracted nearly 6,000 participants from over 500 universities, research institutes, and companies across China.

The three-day event featured a main venue, 27 parallel sessions, and 56 specialized symposia, with 3,452 papers presented. The event also included the presentation of several prestigious academic awards.
